How to import and export a selection of partitions on an iOS device

Newzik provides you with numerous tools to facilitate your daily use of digital scores, but the different media you use can also be a precious help if you learn how to optimize them!

In this article, we'll look at how to import and export a selection of partitions on an iOS device.

The shortcut app is an application installed automatically on all your iOS devices. It lets you store all the shortcuts to your various applications. If you've deleted it before, simply download it again from the app store.

Don't panic, if you've never used an iOS shortcut before and it seems very complex, follow each of the steps indicated and in less than 4 minutes your shortcut is installed and ready to use!

Situation 1: You have already saved a shortcut on your device

Step 1: Click on this link "export and re-import selection" link

(action to be taken from an iOS device, otherwise it won't work...)

Step 2: Name the keyboard shortcut. Personally, I've named it "Newzik score export and import shortcut".

Step 3: Click on "add an untrusted shortcut".

Step 4: Go to the "My shortcuts" section

Step 5: You can be proud of yourself: your shortcut is installed!

Situation 2: You've never installed a shortcut on your device before

Step 1: Go to the "Gallery" section of the "Shortcuts" application and choose a suggested shortcut by clicking on the + button.

Step 2: Name your shortcut and click on "Add to Siri". Personally, I've named it "Newzik score export and import shortcut".

Step 3: Allow untrusted shortcuts in your iOS device settings

Step 4: Back to your application!

Step 5: Click on this link "export and re-import selection" link

(action to be taken from an iOS device, otherwise it won't work...)

Step 6: Name the keyboard shortcut and click on "add an unreliable shortcut".

Step 7: Go to the "My shortcuts" section

Step 8: You can be proud of yourself: your shortcut is installed!

You can now return to Newzik and try out your brand-new shortcut! It will enable you, for example, to split a collection of scores into different pieces. How handy is that?

Stay tuned for more iOS shortcuts coming soon to our blog, to make it easier for you to use digital scores on your devices.
